Sean S. Kelly
SEAN S. KELLY maintains a general practice, with a focus on products liability litigation. For example, Mr. Kelly currently represents Marion, Ohio popcorn workers who have developed bronchiolitis obliterans and other lung injury from diacetyl – a chemical component of butter flavoring used in microwave popcorn. He has successfully obtained workers’ compensation benefits for the children of a late-night office cleaner who was murdered on company premises; setting an important precedent in Ohio law. In his commercial litigation practice, Mr. Kelly has successfully defended a custom motorcycle builder in a contract dispute involving a high-end custom chopper. Mr. Kelly has also represented, in both workers’ compensation and products liability actions, workers who have developed mesothelioma, lung cancer, or asbestosis as a result of asbestos exposure.
Sean Kelly lives in Parma, Ohio. He is an avid pilot, cyclist, and canoeist; and is fluent in the Russian language.
