ROBERT P. SWEENEY, partner and one of the leaders of the Robert E. Sweeney Co. Firm, has focused his career on litigation, usually on behalf of injured plaintiffs. With over 30 years of experience he has had a broad exposure to many different types of cases. He has represented victims of occupational diseases such as mesothelioma and other occupationally based illnesses such as leukemia. He has represented workers who have been seriously injured because of faulty equipment or dangerous work practices. Other typical cases include cases where people have been hurt in motor vehicle accidents, or where consumers have been harmed by defective products, or cases where persons have been deprived of their civil rights or been wrongfully discharged from employment. This litigation experience has taken Mr. Sweeney to court rooms throughout the State of Ohio and other jurisdictions where he has served as co-counsel assisting other clients in other states.

Robert lives in Lakewood, Ohio, with his wife Jackie. Together they have raised a family of eight children.
