MARK WINTERING, the  managing partner of the law  firm,  Robert E. Sweeney Co. LPA, Cleveland, Ohio, has  practiced law in Ohio since 1977,  handling a variety of  complex cases of injury to persons and property, including consumer and commercial  matters in Ohio and other states.

He has tried-to-verdict  cases in the Court of Common Pleas for Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and the United States Federal Courts for the Northern and Southern  Districts of Ohio.  He has argued appeals before the Cuyahoga County Court of Appeals, Eighth District, Ohio, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and participated in appeals to the Ohio Supreme Court.

Mr. Wintering is admitted to the United States Federal Court  for the Northern District of Ohio (1978), and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit (1991).  He is  a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Bar Association, the Ohio Association for Justice, and the American Association for Justice.

He resides in Bay Village, Ohio with his wife, Candace.  The couple have three adult children.
